Has anyone taken Nclex-Pn with 205 questions and passed?

just took my nclex, it was totally not what i expected!! i got 205 questions, and im terrified, i live in california and they dont participate in quick results.. does it really matter how many you get??

No, you can pass or fail with any number between the minimum and maximum. Good luck.

ok cause i have heard a lot of people say that they stopped at 85, and passed. never heard of failing at 85, i seriously left crying that place!!!

im also in cali and got up to 205 questions. i also heard it doesnt matter what number it stops at. Im still waiting for my results but so far ive been getting the pop up, i will post again when i get the results! :)

I had 205 questions, and I failed :crying2:. deft wasn't what i expected. Not sure how to study to retake it again. Good luck to you!

Interesting that two people said they got 205 questions and failed. I wonder if this is some kind of # parameter. I went to 265 and passed. The number of questions don't decide pass or fail. It is true however, that the higher number of questions answered determine (in the case you fail) how well you did. Say if you fail with 75 questions you did very bad, but if you fail with 265 questions you did much better, but it still does not determine how "close" you were to passing, its only a relative estimate.

I took my test here in california on May 19th, and I too had 205 question... or more... well it was definitely more than 200. I've tried the PVT and Im getting the "good pop up" so i will just have to wait and see.

Yeah I just took my exam with 205 questions and I put my name on my state licensing board and it said Passed Exam, License Pending. So it looks like I passed my exam wit h 205 questions. Good Luck to all of you.

First time i got 205 question,,,and i failed.....first time i wasnt know abt the trick....

2nd time ,again i got 205 questions,,,tried trick and got good pop op... result pass...

U r also getting pop ops.....Go and apply jobs,,,,congralutation
