Hi,

I take my NET test here in Los Angele's ,California at an adult school April 22nd. I only know one person who has taken it at an adult school & everything worked out for them as far being accredited where it needs to be & the course is only $1500-$2000 which is way better then being riped off for $30k & only being accredited in certain areas. & also if you guys can give me tips, websites, or books to study that would be helpful i am new here.

Just wanted to see who else has taken it at one & how did it turn out?

Thanks!

As long as the program is accredeted so you can sit for the NCLEX-PN, you should be fine. I took my program in Tampa, FL at an adult/technical school. It is part of our county school system. It's one of the best schools in the area for LPN program. High success rate for passing NCLEX. It is very affordable; $3,000 for 12 month program. If it fits your budget, and your needs for school; I say go for it.

You can't beat that price and you will most likely come out with a better education than some of those leaving the for profit programs.

I also took an adult ed LPN course that was under the umbrella of my county's school system here in Vero Beach, FL. It was a relatively new program when I started back in Aug 08 and it ran about $5,000 for the 12 month course (including tuition, books, uniforms, NCLEX review class, ATI materials, field trip to BON meeting in Tampa, etc.) It was a great program with a 100% NCLEX pass rate among the graduating members of my class of 13.
