Has anyone taken A&P through MCC?

Published

I am going to take it in the Fall and would like to spend the summer preparing. Do you know if anyone has an on-line syllabus to look at so I can read ahead? Thanks! :)

Who's your instructor? Generally, they teach you bones and muscles in A&P 1. You can start by learning them. I found the skull to be especially challenging :uhoh3:

If you have Mincley, I feel sorry for you. I would focus on bones, identifying types of tissues (smooth, skeletal, cardiac, endothelial, etc...) and cellular processes like mitosis. It's been awhile, but I remember there were slides and practicals that we had to identify all the nooks and crannies on bones. If you're good at memorization, you will be fine.

I have a different instructor, actually. I hope he's okay!

Thanks for the tips. I'll get busy with that this summer. My 30 year old brain does not memorize as fast as it used to but if I have time, I can just do repetition until I get it.
