Has Anyone Received a WCCCD Nursing Acceptance or Denial Letter Yet?

Updated:   Published

I was hoping to know if I was accepted in the Spring program before fall registration. Now I am hoping to have an answer before fall classes begin. Has anyone heard anything?

By the way, RondaFrank, you mentioned that you have 88 credits and a 3.5 gpa. i just wanna let you know that they will base your gpa off of your pre-reqs which are bio 155, English I, psy 101, A and P 1, A and P 2, and Microbiology or all the pre-reqs + your co-reqs, whichever is higher. They will not factor in the grades of any classes that you do not need for the program.

I see what the pre-reqs are but do you know what the co-reqs are? My teas test scores are at home, so I can maybe go over it with you to see what kind of points I am looking at. I know it sounds crazy to not know this important information but the instructor from the orientation was less than friendly. I have also applied to other schools and I guess I have become discouraged.....If I do not make this cut I will be going to a University next year because I cannot wait any longer. Thank You for all your help!

The co-reqs are English II, political science, psy 200, nutrition, sociology, pathophysiology, and HSC 100

I just spoke to someone in nursing. They said theyre almost done stuffing the rest of the envelopes and will have them mailed out today.

I hope its true.....Thank you for al your help, I really appreciate it! Good Luck!

Tuesday is the last day to drop classes at 100% you would think they would be more considerate of the students time and money and at least mail them by Monday morning. In the future, it would be more time efficient to just notify students via web gate. But that's just a thought.:crying2:

You're right. They're very inconsiderate. I'm sure they could've gotten the letters out a week ago if they really wanted to but they procrastinated. They said the letters were mailed out on Friday. They've lied before but this time I actually believe them. I hope the letters do arrive in our mailboxes on Monday. I'm sure everyone is anxiously waiting.

Once again my mail has ran and no sign of a letter:confused: I am physically and mentally exhausted at this point:uhoh3: I am going to stop stalking my mail lady and try not to think about the happy letter, waiting with my hopes up is affecting my everyday life:eek: I can't even concentrate on my classes this semester and that is a no-no!!

I know one person that received a letter today. The reason why some people havent gotten letters yet is because they didn't mail all the letters at once. I was told today that the remainder of the letters went out yesterday. If you call them at 313-943-4480 and insist on finding out over the phone they might tell you because I know several people that did that and found out. I myself went there in person yesterday and found out that yes I did get in. Good luck to all!!!!

Congrats Lilianne on getting in:yeah:I am truly happy for you:lol2: I just called the number you posted and the lady just told me that they mailed the letters yesterday after 5:00 p.m. I do not know what to think anymore, these people are so.......ugh. So with that being said, I am on my way to WC3 Nursing dept. and see what kind of answers can I get in person!! Let's see if I will get a different answer in 30 mins. Wish me luck on my journey!!! When I return home I will post my findings!!:redbeathe

Will you please let us know if you have any luck after going to the Nursing office??? To the woman that got an answer over the phone: Did they happen to tell you what the cut off point was???? Someone please keep me posted!!!!!

On the phone with someone now.
