Has anyone received their NP license in California after completing their probation as RN?

I've completed my RN probation about a year ago in California with the BRN. However, recently I've considered going back to school for NP license, but I'm scared that once I graduate the BRN will bring up the past and place me on another course of probation for my NP license? Has anyone been through this before? Would really appreciate some experiences with this!

I haven’t had any experience, but my nurse support group leader is in NP school! She was on probation with the state so I guess it is doable. I wish you luck. You should go for it!

There is another post on here where someone talks about this, specifically.

She was on probation in CA, granted early termination and accepted to Samuel Merritt University FNP program. She began it right after. I also attended Samuel Merritt and obtained my MSN (prior to probation). I was told by a prior professor that I shouldn't have any issues getting into their DNP program, even while on probation. I plan on completing it first, though, just for my own sanity LOL.
