Has Anyone Received Acceptance/denial Letters From Occ For The 2008 Year

Perhaps those who were not accepted this month may be called if someone decides to delay their entry for another year, or change their minds about entering the program at all. Does OCC do that? Notify people at the last minute to see if they want to wiggle in? WCCCC does that. Situations change for people. A 3.5 GPA is pretty darn good.....hang on! Things may change for you. Have faith. :wshgrt:

The letter did state that you needed to notify OCC by March 31 whether or not you were going to accept the offer. It is true that some students do not accept the position in the program for various reasons. So it might not be long after March 31 when they contact students to fill the spots of those who do not accept the enrollment. Hang in there and hope for the best. Stranger things have happened to me in my lifetime................. :twocents:

That's great!!! Visualize seeing yourself in the program this year. Say a few prayers. Put SOMETHING into it. :plsebeg: You'll see - you'll be in. I'll keep a good thought for you, too!

(It might even be very close to the start date...keep yourself prepared!)

has anyone gotten any letters concerning registering for pharm. in the summer (for those who already signed the letter saying they wanted to take it in the summer)? i really dislike how we have to register by mail and not online.

I haven't gotten my pharm schedule either. I heard a rumor that the letters will be going out by the end of the week.

I'm glad we don't have to register online but I would like to get my schedule soon so I can make arrangements for my kids if I need to. It seems to be a never ending waiting game, huh?

I heard some good news today. The Nursing program packets were mailed from the Nursing office today so we should get something in the mail tomorrow or Friday! Wooo hooo! FINALLY! Let me know when you get yours! :yeah:

Ok, so I guess just the accerlated program packets went out Wednesday. I misread a post on myspace about it. Sorry! Maybe we'll get something anyway! I'll keep ya posted if I hear anything.
