Has anyone passed on their third try??

Published

I am about to reschedule to take nclex again for the 3rd time....and for some reason today I feel like I'm just gonna fail again. I"m usually so positive and have picked myself up quick after the last 2 times of failing. I keep reading that only 25% pass on the third try and it goes down everytime and it is making me really sad:( Is that percentage right??

Who cares about the percentage? Just work at learning what you need to know and keep plugging away. You hope to pass on the third try and not the 13th. But if it is the 13th, at least you will have passed. Good luck.

Thats very true thanks!!

dont worry about the number, and if you really are that worried... prove the statistics wrong. study study study and go in there and pass!

focus on your weaknesses, mix content with questions and pray

Forget about the percentages. What matters most is focusing on studying hard, believing in yourself & having faith. I know alot of really good nurses who didn't pass the first or second time around & I'm betting that alot of their patients are glad they didn't give up either! You just got to hang in there, keep studying hard & stay positive! You'll be a nurse soon! ;)

Our daughter just passed a week ago, and it was her third try!! :yeah: Good luck to you!!
