Has anyone heard of St.Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora,Illinois?

Published

I've been there before and the hospital is such a great experience. Im worried about the cna position because they usually have patient care techs. Does anyone have any input on this hospital. I know that the nurse managers and employees are wonderful people. I am not so sure if they have education tuition reimbursement....

Any input thanks

I'll move this to the IL nursing forum for more input.

Hello,

Not sure if you've started there already, but I volunteered there for a year. From what I know they do reimburse you for schooling I think after you've been there for 6 months... I was there for a year and I had a wonderful time and met great people. I hope you enjoy your time there, good luck :)

Oh, so would I have to take out a loan or something. I would love to work there as a nurse even though I am in indiana.

No, you get into some kind of school program thing with the hospital, if you fail your classes then you end up paying for those classes, if you do well, then they cover your schooling... That was all I knew from my friend that actually worked there, this was two years ago, so things could have changed?? Feel free to call, I'm sure they would explain all the great benefits :)
