I basically just started a job that will pay for my schooling almost in full for me but the problem is, I am about to graduate a CNA program and this other job I already have has nothing to do with nursing. The job I just started is part-time, so I was thinking I could work as a CNA part-time so I could put something on my nursing resume in the future and work at this other job so I can have my schooling paid for me. Has anyone ever worked two jobs as a CNA? What would you do in this situation? Thanks for the advice:nurse:

Go ahead with your plans but be flexible enough with your schedules so that you don't miss out on school. No sense in getting all caught up in work, then failing out of school. Many CNAs work two or more part time jobs anyway.

Having a job that pays for school is a huge benefit. It would be nice if the CNA job paid that for you. I actually work FT in a non-medical related field and will be starting a PT CNA job this coming week. I've taken on enough hours that work for me so that's what I would advise of you as well. Just make sure that balance between the two so you don't get burned out.
I agree wtih caliotter3 that school is important so you should focus on that and what will be best for your overall development in the future.
All the best to you!
