Our instructor has decided to use the ERI test for our final for our clinical/theory class. It is supposed to be somewhat similar to the NCLEX. Has anyone ever taken this test before? And if so how would you compare the questions to the questions you would normally get from a test in class? I have noticed that our questions are quite a bit harder than what is in our NCLEX study guides, and I'm just curious as to if the ERI test will be easier than our average tests?
Thanks!!

There's some other threads regarding the ERI exams, if you want to do a search you might find some more info too.
We have had to take the ERIs, but not for a test grade. We had to take the ERI PreRN Assessment, it's a good indicator on how you do on the NCLEX, and we had to pass with a certain score before we graduate .... if we didn't get the score, we'd fail the course. We were able to get on the ERI website though and do practice tests, are you able to do this? It helped a lot. I find the questions are fairly similar to the ones in the NCLEX review books. Not sure how I would compare them to our school exams though. I found them to be about the same I guess .... it was just hard to know what exact material to study. But if they give you what material to study then I'm sure it'd be fine.
Definitely see if you can do the practice tests at www.eriworld.com
You have to have a school password to get into the tests, they should provide that to you.
Good luck!

We have to take them.
I would say they are comparable to our exam questions BUT we are more specifically prepared for what the teacher is going to put on the exams because they usually review.
