Has anyone done George Washington University Online Program?!?!

Hi I was wondering if anyone has actually started or finished GWU Online Family Nurse Practitioner program and could give me any insight into how the program was? I was also curious if anyone did the program and was an out of state student (not in the DC/Virginia area) and how it went for you? Thank you!

Does anyone know if GWU takes students who do not have a BSN and do not have any experience in nursing for the masters FNP program? I have a biology degree. I'm looking for an online part time program and I'm not sure If GSW accepts these requirements......

GW has different options to eventually get into the NP program, but to become an NP you will need to be an RN first . Contact the school to see what options will benefit you the most.

Do you need a lot of clinical experience to be accepted into the program? About how much experience as an RN did you guys have when applying and being accepted. Thanks in advance!

Hi Mel02 I recently graduated this December and passed my NCLEX. I wanted to apply to the FNP program @ georgetown but felt like I would be denied bc I have no RN experience yet. However, I have a lot of PCT experience. It seems like you were on the same boat when you applied. Is there something that made your application stand out? Thanks in advance. I don't think you need experience to apply. I only have a few years of experience.

for those who have been in the program, do you know if the Advanced Health Assessment Course has any clinical component other than the on campus visit? I'm having a tough time getting answers and want to work on sites!
