Has anyone done George Washington University Online Program?!?!

Hi I was wondering if anyone has actually started or finished GWU Online Family Nurse Practitioner program and could give me any insight into how the program was? I was also curious if anyone did the program and was an out of state student (not in the DC/Virginia area) and how it went for you? Thank you!

Annabelle- I heard from them through an email. Once it was sent to them to be looked at they sent me an email. I would just call them honestly. They have all been super nice and helpful when I called. Please keep in touch! I'm sure we will be classmates 😀

Hi everyone,

I just found out I was admitted to the Fall 2015 ADN-MSN/FNP program and was hoping to find out if anyone else has been excepted to this program and if you know anything about orientation dates, lengths etc. I'm starting my first RN job on 6/22 so I need to give my manager a heads up about that stuff asap. Hey tachybradyRN, I wanted to follow up with you about the program and see how you are doing with it. I just found out that I was accepted in Chamberlain College which is an online program for FNP. Hi guys,

I'm interested in applying to GWU's spring 2016 FNP program. I have been hesitant in applying because I don't feel like my application really stands out. I have about a year and a half of experience (Med/Surg and Pre-op/PACU) and am finishing my BSN in December. My ADN grades are mediocre and hold a 3.6 GPA so far with two more classes to complete my BSN.

What does GWU really look at in an applicant? Being a NP has been my ultimate goal.

Hi all! I just applied to GW FNP program for spring 2016. Has anyone else applied to this program? Has anyone else been accepted? I like what I am reading on here. Does anyone know if there is an on campus orientation for spring start? Also, does anyone know the national exam pass rate for this program? I tried to look but I can't find it. I am glad to read that there are some on here that passed.

Hi, I was just accepted to the GWU FNP program starting Spring 2016. I applied in July. There is only an online orientation for Spring but you still go to the on campus orientation in the Fall. If you're accepted let me know and we can make a Facebook group. Good luck!

Okay great! Thank you for the response. I hope to get accepted too. You got accepted quickly! It has been a real process trying to pick a grad school. They all see very similar. Creating a Facebook page is a great idea. I will let you know as soon as I hear.

I just did it last week too! Just the day before the deadline. I don't know when we could expect to hear. I hope it will be soon. I am guessing a few weeks. Let me know if you hear anything.
