Hello All,
I am a mother of a nine month old, a wife, a daughter, so on and so forth... so needless to say I am very busy. I have been looking online for a nursing program that will fit in with my life. Can anyone give any advice as to their experience or knowledge with online nursing programs? Suggestions on online programs? Do you feel that you gained a lot of experience? Difficulties finding a job? Any information is appreciated!.

Thank you all!!!!
We have some local colleges that do online programs, then set up local clinicals. I finished my Assoc. RN through University of South Dakota. I know Minnesota West also has an online RN program. You do lectures and lab at home, then go to clinicals- sometimes up to a 2-3 hr drive away. USD is a NLN accredited gold standard school, and I had no problem finding a job. (this was 3 yrs ago though, before the economy tanked)
There may be a wait no matter where you go though- it's very competative getting into nursing programs. If it's your passion- just stick it out and go for it.
