Has anyone applied for the 2011 fall nursing for TVCC?

I applied for the nursing program Jan 2011 and a little nervous because I only have 9 points with a 3.2 GPA. Anyone else applied?

Congrats to all that got accepted to the TVCC ADN program for Fall 2011!! I am a sophmore ADN student at TVCC and just wanted to let you all know to get ready for a whirlwind!!! TVCC has Great instructors that will help you out if you show that you are trying! Most of all remember to have a little fun even though you will be totally stressed.. Nursing school is hard but it is supposed to be fun too!

Has anyone been pulled off the alternate list yet?

Hang in there if you are on the alt list... with my class, they pulled people off the alt list up through (I want to say) the first few weeks of class... so there is still hope. :) good luck!

Thanks! They didn't say anything about alternates going to orientation. Now I'm worried I lost my spot on the list because I didn't go. I just assumed they would have told us to go if we were supposed to.

Yah, I would call them and find out.. I was not an alternate but I am pretty sure Orientation was mandatory for accepted students as well as alts to hold their spots... My Dad passed away last summer, and orientation was the day after his funeral... I was at orientation (well my body was) There is another orientation on July 7th that should also be mandatory for all (If I am remembering correctly, but I could be wrong)
