Has anyone actually printed from Flashcard exchange???

Published

hello, I was browsing through this site and saw cool stuff but I couldn't print anything out. I was wondering if you have to pay. Has anyone printed out from this site. and if so is it worth it?? Any advice is helpful thanks.

I tried it, and it was a pain in the butt. I love making online cards there to review online, but not to print. It just takes for ever to print them, cut them out, fold them and glue them. Not to mention the price of ink....it's just not worth it.

I find it easier just to buy index cards from walmart, punch a hole in the top side, and buy a pack of rings for 60 cents, and make my own flashcards. Really takes less time too.

I have not tried and I am pretty sure you have to sign up for it and pay to be able to print.

At work, I can press the print screen button an it'll copy my screen and then you can paste that into a word document. Haven't tried it here, but I would think it works. that would be the only thing I can think of to do it without paying!

I have bought index cards and printed out index cards double sided and they have the perferated edges which makes it much easier!! But I personally learn better by actually writing them myself, not typing! So, I may just start writing them anyway.

Good luck.

thank you guys that is a great idea.

I love this site!!!

Yes, you have to pay to print but it's 20 bucks for life. My study buddy is a member too so we split up the making of flashcards and I print them. I have access (no charge!!!) to a double sided printer so it's a breeze! With two of us working on flashcards, we get the work done in half the time.

hmm... i've never used that site, but i've also never had problems printing out flash cards! i found out last semester that i'm just not a flash card person, but when i did use flash cards, all i did was use standard 3x5 white index cards, microsoft word and set the page size to "index card," and on printer settings i clicked on "print on both sides"... it's really not that complicated, and it saved my hand from writer's cramps!!! (i type way faster than i write)
