Has anybody got into CRNA school with a GPA under 3.00?

As title states. Interested in how you made your application more competitive and what schools you applied to.

Thanks.

lady_stic........when did you interview with FIU? You received a decision? I interviewed on Nov 23 and still haven't heard anything either way. worried

This is not true. My friend's GPA is was below a 3.0 and he received interviews to 6/7 schools.

I interviewed on Nov 23 as well. I'm pretty sure I blew it. I was so nervous. My friend interviewed on the first day and he heard back on Wednesday. Good luck to you. Did you apply elsewhere?

I felt the exact same walking out of the interview. It was definitely not one of my better moments:( So you haven't actually heard back from them? Your post said "FIU chose him and not me". I applied to Columbia, Rutgers, Georgetown and will keep going if I don't succeed with any of those:) Have you applied to others? Good luck to you as well!

Well I was assuming that I didn't get in. I'm not sure if they sent out all the acceptance e-mails on Wednesday. I applied to UNF, LSU etc. Thanks. :)

I have. I remember searching the forums here and elsewhere trying to find information on individuals gaining acceptance into a CRNA program with a GPA

If you get an interview you will be almost on par with every one else, so you have to stand out in your interview, it will make or break so many. They have to know you can handle the stress both mentally and physically. It looks bad when students drop out for any reason and most do because of other personal reasons not from being unable to do the coursework. OK I have typed too much already. Just remember if you get an interview this is your time to shine and let them know how you will be vital to their program and your class and not that you are just there for yourself and trying to get by.

What schools did you apply to and where were you accepted?
