Theres another thread in the general nursing student section but I thought putting it here will help with the conversation. HR interviews were last week and I was wondering if anyone gotten an email from them for the second round yet? I want to email and ask since its already Thursday but I don't want to look needy.

Yeah but the pay and the fact that you might not be offered a job afterwards is too uncertain for me. I've been interviewing in Dallas so if needed I'll work there for a year or two for the experience and then move back to Houston.

Where have you interviewed in Dallas, I haven't heard anything from them at all. Its depressing.

I interviewed at Methodist Dallas but didn't get the position. I interview with Baylor next week. And I've heard nothing from houston which is where I really wanna be so I know the feeling lol

have yall heard anything back? I accepted an offer at Memorial Hermann because they never got back to me in time.

I actually did. Odd story: so at the suggestion of a classmate, I thought I would email the recruiter and see if I was still being considered for a position. I was pretty certain I was not, so I just wanted to be sure to take my eggs out of that basket. She emailed me the same day and said I was not selected to move forward in the process. Cue crushing feelings of defeat. Anyway, a day or two later, I get a call from her asking if I was still interested for LBJ mother-baby nursery. I hadn't accepted anywhere yet so I ended up scheduling and interviewing the following week (this Mon). Not my best interview, so I'm not counting on an offer, but she got back to me! That's great to hear you got an offer at Memorial Hermann! Congrats! :)
