Harford CC Fall 2021

Published

Hi, I’m applying for HCC for the fall. I was wondering if anyone else on here was!

Welp, I was not given a seat , I guess I will be at BCCC this fall. I really wanted to do the accelerated program but it wasn't God's plan for me. Goodluck everyone

Good Luck Autumn.

I had 10 points. I am going to apply to Ccbc lpn to RN program. If I don’t get in then I am going to apply to regular RN program. I am not trying to wait years to get into a lpn to RN program.

Hi, look also into Salem Community college in Salem NJ.

They have an LPN to RN program

Hi,

I don't know if anyone will see this or respond because it's somewhat unrelated.  I plan on applying to HCC for nursing in the near future. I'm just curious if anyone could give me some idea of what the schedule would be like? Is it M-F 8-5 etc? I know clinicals are subject to change and always different but if anyone could give me a general idea of what to expect that'd be awesome!

Thanks,

J

Hi J,

I am just getting in for the Fall 21 It seems the schedule is changing or different because of covid guidelines but when things get back to normal we can inform you on the concrete schedule.

Hello everyone for those who are starting Fall 21, besides the recent email from Joanday. Is there anything else we need to be aware of??

Jham0801, I found it helpful to look at the schedule for past and upcoming terms. When I cleared my schedule I tried to stay available during the weekdays because of the uncertainty (especially with clinical days).
if first semester were in person this Summer I would have had lecture 8:30-11:30 mon and wed, lab 12:30-3:30 tues, and clinical would have been 7-3:30 on fridays.

Hi!

Sorry, I know this is kind of an old thread but I'm having the worst time trying to get an answer from an advisor. Most of my nursing prereqs are from ccbc but I live in harford now and plan to apply to their nursing program this Winter for fall acceptance (hopefully). How much does it matter or will it count against me that my prereqs were done at hcc. I did A&P 1 and micro at hcc but I had to do A&P 2 at ccbc bc I couldn't find any other classes that worked with my schedule at the time. Anyone with similar experience or advice?

Thanks,

JH

They only give you 1-2 additional points for taking your classes at HCC so it should not be a deal breaker. Most of your points are from GPA and science grades.
