Harbor UCLA 2025 New Graduate Program

Published

Hi everyone! I was recently hired for the NICU at Harbor-UCLA new grad program, starting in March 2025. Im super excited to begin this journey and would love to connect with others who are also starting in March!

If youre in the same cohort (or have any insight on what to expect), feel free to comment or message me.

Has anyone interviewed for MS-Tele and heard anything back? I interviewed last month and was told to hear back after a week but nothing still 😕

I emailed my resume, cover letter and assessment score like a week ago. How long did it take for someone to reach out about interviewing? I'm a little nervous and not sure who to contact about an update on my application for. Thank you!

It was super confusing but for me, in my initial email I included the units I was interested in (women's health, L&D, NICU, etc.) and they responded the next day with an application to fill out but the units they were offering were none of the ones I was really interested in so I didn't even send the application back but then like 4 days later they just randomly scheduled me for an interview with L&D LOL. I think you should send a follow up email! My interview is coming up, pretty nervous but hoping for the best.

Can someone confirm the email you are using to communicate with Harbor-UCLA?

The [email protected] email bounced back to me.

Thanks!

strange, I don't know why it's coming back to me.

Does anyone have a phone number to someone at Harbor?

I also emailed them with all that info 1 month ago with the sheet they make you fill out for when you are available to interview and have yet to hear back so I'll be sending a follow up email. I think for me it took 2 weeks to hear back with them emailing you interview dates so maybe hold off a bit. I know they are really slow in responding.

Once you receive your results you'll fwd it to ucla harbor  with cover letter resume  BLS and nursing license. You'll also state three specific units of preference for example if you want critical care you write ICU CVICU ED etc Email: [email protected]

Hi, I know this is an older thread but I'm also hoping to apply in the NICU at Harbor soon. Where do you actually find the application? Does it specifically say New Grad residency ? I've searched their site but didn't understand what to apply to.
I did clinicals in the NICU and have worked as a CNA in a NICU for two years. NICU is my dream. Any help would be so appreciated. I hope you're enjoying it so far !
What "results" did you forward to the recruiter?

Hi!! No, it doesn't specifically say "New Grad" or anything like that. It's just titled as something like "Registered Nurse 1" on the LA County jobs website. Once you apply, it prompts you to take an exam but its just about your working style and personality. Once that's done you should get an email with your results and with those results you can forward them to wherever you wanna apply and in the email you just let them know what your unit preferences are. Also make sure to include your resume and BLS. For me, I also included a cover letter and my license/verification form, just because. Good luck!!

Thank you so much !!

Hi everyone! I interviewed for the L&D unit this morning. If you received an offer from Harbor-UCLA, how long did it take? My interviewer told me to be patient because the unit is pretty full so I have low hopes tbh. Fingers crossed though!
