Did anyone accept the relief nurse position & know how likely you are to become full time?

Orientation has been pretty long, it goes for about 3 weeks, then you get put into an educational unit where they assess how you do physical assessment, pass meds etc, then they pair you with a preceptor when they feel that you're ready

thank you!

It's been a month for me also. I haven't heard anything back. I think regular pay is $50 maybe more and I heard relief being around $65 because you don't have any benefits. This is just what I heard ...

I hope they get back to us soon! ;-; ill keep you updated if I get some sort of response on my end. so far, HR has just told me that my interview outcome is pending and that the hiring managers are finalizing decisions. but other ppl are still being interviewed so maybe they're gonna make the ppl who interviewed earlier wait til may interviews are over? I really hope not tho ://

I didn't hear back yet but I was just wondering about how long it takes to become full time.

Hi, I accepted the relief nurse position last week on the 8th but don't know anything about becoming full time. My interview was on April 8th so it took a month to hear back.

Oh, I see! If you don't mind me asking, since the relief nurse position doesn't include health/dental benefits, are you planning to pay out of pocket for insurance?

Most likely, if I need to. Not sure how that will work out yet.

congrats! may I ask what is the process like for accepting the offer? was it made during call or via email? also do you know approximately when you'll be starting or is it contingent on when your paperwork is all processed like so of the other individuals on this thread? TIA

Thanks! The offer was sent via email, no call, and to accept I just had to reply to the email. After accepting the offer, they replied back with info about the hiring process and that the first step was to get a livescan done. They stated that the whole process might take several weeks but the offer does say I'm in the September cohort, which is what my interviewer also estimated. No specific day yet but email says after clearance they will confirm a start date.

Still no activity from Harbor-UCLA besides OR?
