To all the ER Nurses out there in the world.
Just wanted to take a minute and thank you for all you do.
We are in the forefront of healthcare, life and death,
joy and sorrow.
We work long hours , weekends, Holidays and our birthday.
We also make a difference everyday to a child, parent, homeless person
an aging fragile grandma, special needs child, and the list goes on and on..
be proud of what you do and do it well.
Again, thank you and HAPPY ER NURSES WEEK!
I am gratefull to learn something new everyday in the ER.
What are you grateful for??

Grateful for waking up and being upright and ambulatory. :) Another Army nurse wasn't so lucky this weekend, so that puts things in perspective.
When I get home, I will be super grateful to be back in my ER with my ER peeps and for the ability to order pizza!
Happy ER Nurses Week!!

with whats going on currently in DC having a JOB does put things in perspective.
sometimes its the little things we take for granted that are the most vital...
Great point.

One great thing about being an ER nurse is that so often we get perspective, whether our ER is in Afghanistan or Miami. :)
