Halloween

I've worked in small facilities and large ones. Inner city facilities and chi chi ones with linen and real china in the dining room. No matter what facility, we've always been allowed to wear a costume on Halloween. Now, the new ED says he might not allow it. Anyone have an opinion?

We thought about dressing up for Halloween, but we decided against it.

We realized that people waking up from anesthesia might not be too happy seeing someone dressed as an angel or a devil or anything else out of the ordinary.

On the other hand, it would probably make a superb skit on SNL.

i love dressing up also. i was a cow with udders a few yrs ago and a witch also....loved it.

Mermaid do you have any confused residents that may be scared by the costumes? perhaps thats what they are afraid of happening.

Not an issue of confusing anyone. I think the new ED has "upscale' stuck in his brain and doesn't think it's upscale to dress up and have fun.

hm maybe you can dress up as HIM sounds pretty goolish!!
