Sooo, I've got almost all of my prereq's done for nursing school that's close, to me. I've been headed towards nursing for about the past 10 years and I was actually in nursing school for half a semester about 4 years ago, before I had to move (hubby at the time, was in the Army).
I am still a bit nervous, though....My personality is half introvert and half extrovert. Can anyone relate? Does that kind of personality seem to work well in nursing, or no?
Any comments, hints, tips, etc are appreciated.

Both personalities do well in nursing. Just takes balance. I am a solid introvert, and I've found that being calm and quiet, especially with anxious patients and families, is a huge asset. It helps them relax and also gives them room to ask questions and voice concerns that they don't with other clinicians who may be wordier.
On the flipside, my more extraverted colleagues often establish awesome rapport with their patients and always know how to keep a lively conversation going, which can be nice for some people (it just wears me out ). They also tend to be really good at knowing just how to word things when educating. I feel like there is room for both personalities in nursing.

Nope. You must decide if you are one or the other. Sorry. We don't accept mixed types in nursing. We only accept those that can clearly define themselves.
I hope you see how silly this is and you are worrying for nothing. Not everybody on this earth is the same!!! That is what is great about humans. We are each unique.

I am mainly an introvert who can play the extrovert when I need to do so. Probably why I am so tired when I get home from a busy shift.
