I graduated in December of 2009 and took the NCLEX for the first time in February and failed after 5 1/2 hrs with all 265 questions. I tried the PVT and it went to the CC screen and I was heartbroken. After months of beating myself up and regretting not being better prepared I gave it another shot today. I got about 30 minutes of sleep last night and haven't ate in 2 days while trying to cram and desperately prepare myself for this attempt. I know that's not the best way to get ready, but I couldn't sleep and I've been studying for a couple of months now answering anywhere from 200-800 questions a week on my Hogan CD and my Saunders CD. If not having any sleep wasn't bad enough, I had a 90 min ride to the Pearson testing center today and the air conditioner in my car quit working as I was leaving home, so I had to explain to the testing monitors there why I was sweaty and wet. Anyway to get to the point, I took it again today and once again had all 265 questions and it took 5 hrs and 50 mins. My contacts were fogging up and my mouth was dry but I never got up once for a break. I stuck with it the entire time. Got home and seen the delivery was successful so tried the PVT and got the "Good Pop-up." Hopefully it won't let me down. It took a lot of studying and a lot of prayers.
Thank You Jesus!!!
Still praying and holding out hope that I did indeed pass, but if the PVT holds true, then I'm an RN!!!
