Had Orientation Today!!!!!!

okay.....so i want everyone to know how my day went. i start school on aug 25th but today at 900 am i had my orientation. my head is spinning!!!! we have so much to do before aug 1st!!!! (the deadline for everything to be submitted) there was about 80 people there (the day and evening classes were combined) and we went over what shots we had to get, dress code, classes we were taking, clinical, financial aid and tuition etc. but wait....when one of the instructors started calling us up to give out the financial aid packets a guy asked if she could just leave one on the desk in the front of the roon until she was done talking and the instructor asked why. do you know what his response was???? "because i don't feel like getting up right now!"no lie!!!!!! eveyone got quiet ..i swear you could've heard a pin drop!!!!! my jaw dropped. but otherwise it was a fantastic day. i am ready to start school and work my butt off!!!!!:yeah::yeah:

How exciting for you. I start my RN program in January, feels like an eternity but it will be here before I know it. That guy is already standing out in a bad way. So many people would jump at the chance to take his spot. Good luck to you.

Good luck DIOR I started on april 28th and I don't beleive we are ulready a month into this I can see time is gonna go by. The best advice I can give is to stay focused and just keep reading till you get it:lol2:there will be downs but don't concentrate on that make it a positive, and try not to get inot the cliques because those are the ones that fail because they are so busy gossiping but not learning the material its crazy.I wish you all the best keep me updated we can share stories I had professional awareness yesterday(just nursing ethics, professinalism,pt care ) he had so many nursing stories for us we were hysterical like on the floor. ok

I am so excited for you.....I am still trying to get in our nursing program, I have my interview on June 3rd......I was told that you should get lots of rest now because once you start you are extremely busy.....I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT GUY SAID THAT ON THE VERY FIRST DAY THAT EVERYONE MEETS.....I hope he changes his attitude before the first day of class.:yeah::yeah:

i have my orientation june 9th. i cant wait. i know at least 7 other people in my class. 3 of them are my friends so its going to be a really good class.

i bet that guy wont make it thru if hes that lazy. too bad he got the spot and someone who would work for it didnt. oh well.

ill tell you. ill work my ass for this. ill let my house be a poop hole before i jeopardize my grades.
