Hi, I've been accepted to Gwynedd Mercy University's Nursing program for the Fall of 2017. As well I am a transfer student from the Community College of Philadelphia. I just wanted to know if anyone else has been accepted to Gwynedd Mercy's BSN program. I also wanted to know if there are former students from GMercyU BSN program if you could tell me about your experience. I am super excited about attending in the Fall and just would like more information about what to expect.
Hey everyone.
I am currently in the program now in my junior year. I just wanna to say that is it easy to get in Gwynedd but very challenging to stay in the program. You have to stay on top of everything ...tons of work (clinical paper work/ a lot of topics to study) with little help from the Faculty. I encourage you all to Purchase NCLEX style books and watch YouTube videos on how to answer those type of questions because they expect you to know how to answer them which can be very difficult to some students. In order to pass the nursing courses you need a 76 and above and they do not round up. As well if you did not pass a nursing course you have to wait until the following year to retake the course which will cause you to be a year behind. Hope this helps!

I was also a transfer student and they took a lot of my credits which was cool. The program is (ok). I don't understand why they make you take 2 chemistries...the classes are huge so not a lot of one on one attention...everything is rushed through so you have to be able to keep up and definitely learn things on your own...study as hard as you can because the material in class usually don't match the test...besides all of that it's a really good school, I'm sure you will do well if you're passionate about being a nurse.
Hi, I have a question. How long is your transfer program? I was told 3 years, but everything depends on how many classes you took already. Thank you

Thank you so much! Every one is saying that taking both of those classes at is really tough.
