  1. Hey everyone. I am currently in the program now in my junior year. I just wanna to say that is it easy to get in Gwynedd but very challenging to stay in the program. You have to stay on top of everything ...tons of work (clinical paper work/ a lot of topics to study) with little help from the Faculty. I encourage you all to Purchase NCLEX style books and watch YouTube videos on how to answer those type of questions because they expect you to know how to answer them which can be very difficult to some students. In order to pass the nursing courses you need a 76 and above and they do not round up. As well if you did not pass a nursing course you have to wait until the following year to retake the course which will cause you to be a year behind. Hope this helps!
  2. No I don't have any experience so far smh I've been so focused on finishing my prerequisites and working but hopefully I can find something soon. Could you email your number to me cause I'm not sure how to do the private messages lol. My email is [email protected]. But thank you so much for responding to me I appreciate it so much!!
  3. Okay that's kind of what I do now in my chemistry class. Is there anything you suggest I should do during the summer before starting the program? Right now I am trying to find hospitals to volunteer. Also I plan on going over some things from my previous A&P classes to prepare. Is there anything else or something that you did before you started?
  4. Hi, I have been accepted to gwynedd mercy's nursing program for the Fall of 2017. Could you tell me about your experience so far? I am really excited about entering and I just wanted to know what to expect. I really appreciate it. Thanks.
  5. Omg Thanks. That would help out a lot! I will definitely look on amazon as well. I also wanted to know are the Professors willing to help if you happened to be struggling with a class or two? I know that sometimes some Professor are not that helpful and leave you to figure out everything on your own.
  6. For your textbooks were you able to get them off of Amazon for a cheaper price? I'm sorry I have so many questions to ask lol. When I went to the accepted students day over the weekend I did not really get a chance to speak to anyone from the nursing program. I feel like you are way more helpful then they were.
  7. Thanks so much for you're reply I really appreciate it. I also wanted to know about clinicals. Do they start as soon as you enter the program? Also did you stay on campus or commute? I am planning to stay on campus only because I do not have a car to go back and forth.
  8. Hi, I've been accepted to Gwynedd Mercy University's Nursing program for the Fall of 2017. As well I am a transfer student from the Community College of Philadelphia. I just wanted to know if anyone else has been accepted to Gwynedd Mercy's BSN program. I also wanted to know if there are former students from GMercyU BSN program if you could tell me about your experience. I am super excited about attending in the Fall and just would like more information about what to expect.
