So I just got accepted to Gmercys accelerated nursing program and I am so relieved that I got in. Anyone else starting in May? Does anyone have any extra info they are willing to share?

Does anyone know if there have been any improvements to the program since last year (Dec 2016)? Ive been accepted but a bit hesitant based on reviews ive been seeing

Tawtaw I am just applying now. I too feel as you do. I have not heard a change in reviews. When did you get accepted for and how was the application process/turn around time? Do you have your pre reqs completed and if you dont mind what was your gpa

Application process is the easiest application ever! Literally very easy online .. n the accelerated program itself started 2015 so it's new n they kinda need people but the school itself been there many years plus their traditional nursing program. I'm starting January 2018.. I know people who got in with 2.8 they had to just write a letter but it's easy to get into but the program is not easy it's tough and it's a good program I have friends who graduated from there. N pass nclex first time 75 questions

I'm applying for August 2018! Hoping to get in! My sister was actually part of the first graduating cohort when they opened! Did you have to go in and meet with an advisor to apply? I filled out an information form online and they called me asking me to come in and meet them bring transcripts and what not in order to apply, did you do any of that? Or are they just at the point where they need people since it is so new that they like to recruit? I will be graduating April 30. My gpa will be a smidge over 3.0 after graduation for my undergrad, however, my community college gpa is 2.98. So I hope they take me. I'm still writing a personal statement and have reference letters.

Really? I never had to do that the only time I went in was for orientation in November lol .. I think they are changing things now then but all my other friends that started applying in the summer or are in it, didn't do that but it's nurisng so everyday they make new changes but I only applied online filled that little form up and an advisor called me and ask for my transcripts I forward it to them and that was it.. n I took organic - biochemistry I just finish even last week with that Cbut it's easy to apply idk about meeting them in person I'm not from PA so I can't make that trip. You should be good on that gpa though for that school. Don't stress it.. I got accepted through an email smh. But I know it's gonna get harder to get in as time goes on.

Lol. Did you send official transcripts? Also, everyone keeps telling me the same thing that they didn't go in lol and they keep telling me they are most like attempting to fill their cohort and wanted me to come in convince me to apply. Who knows though! The admissions counselor didn't even really interview me he reviewed my transcripts, said they look pretty good and was impressed I had all but one of my pre reqs done and asked about when I was considering starting and what campus. He then gave me a tour of the school and had me fill out the application and I just started the process of getting my transcripts. I agree with you on they will most likely changing their acceptance process once they become more organized with the program. How long did it take for you to find out if you were accepted or not?

Lol what's your email ? I ca answer more questions there instead of here . Lol but I think 2 weeks like not all preqs need to be completed I'm still even finishing up with one but it's because I had all just they said it's old smh so had to retake them over but I did it online through portage learning

Hi I was also looking for information regarding application process. I just recently applied I believe they are just waiting on my transcript to start. How long did it take? I am applying for the August cohort
