I recommend starting a facebook group for your class! We did that for our class and a lot of the seniors joined and answered any questions we had! For everyone still waiting, Just be patient. Im sure they are still processing applications! Good luck to each of you!!
Hi! When you have a second, can you please give us some insight into the program schedule? How many days are you on campus/in the hospital. The picture below is the schedule they have listed for the Fall. Can you explain it please! Also the must have items we should buy...how to prepare over the Summer...and anything else you can think of!!

Yes, some more insight would be helpful!
I attended an info session recently and they did say the schedule set up is 1 day for lecture, 1-2 days for clinicals that may be up to 12 hours on any day of the week that is not a lecture day, and 1 day for lab.
Hey of course! So first semester you will go 3 days of the week. One day is lecture which will be from 9-12 and then 1-4. Exam days you start at 8:00. One day will be lab which will be 9-3 I think it was and one day is clinical from 6:45 - 3 ( times will vary). As far as what you need: a stethoscope, watch with a second hand, white leather waterproof shoes, and black scrub pants. The top you have to buy from a specific vendor.

Where did you go to find this schedule?

My only concern with the ADN program is if the graduates would be able to apply to the Nursing residency programs. I see a lot of hospitals want a BSN for those programs.
Yes I have. I applied to Piedmont College in Athens and I got accepted but I will be declining my spot there because they are expensive and it's like 50 mins from my house. Mercer denied me last year LOL I also applied to Georgia Gwinnett college and GSU ADN. I know ADN students who graduated and did Nursing residency programs. Alot of hospitals will pay for you to bridge while you work as a Nurse.

Thanks! That Mercer program is expensive and I used a lot of loans on my MSW so I did not want to take out anymore! If the residency programs take ADN and will pay to bridge, it sounds like a no brainer to me! LOL

Yes Mercer is very expensive! Piedmont is BSN but they wanted like $12,000 per semester not including books and everything else LOL ..
No problem! ☺️
