Guilford Tech Fall 2012 Nursing Program

New to allnurses.com but, I just applied for Nursing School at GTCC and I am so anxious to find out what points are getting accepted! Just wondering how many have applied and what their point range was? That Tea's V was a butt Kicker for me! So anxious to get a letter!

Readytonurse01, I also applied to FTCC. I don't know the range because they said it varies every year depending on the applicant pool.

Forsyth11, I see that.. It seems like high 140s are what's mostly posted on the forums I've read so far... I haven't taken the teas yet but it seems like it must be harder than the last one! Maybe that will help bring down the average from last years 147!

Mogget I don't remember his name but I know he is the one I turned My teas score into and he added uP my points on the due date! He didn't mention them changing the passing score all he said was how of a lot of ppl with higher scores were not passing which if they were would blow my 42 points out of the water lol

Readytonurse01, Forsyth's average was 147 last semester? wow.. I thought it was higher than that. Oh well, if it is 147, that is very good news. But again it depends on the applicants.

A friend of mine in the nursing program just told me the cutoff points for her Spring 2012 class were 44. This may change since the teas scores haven't been so great!

I read on here were a girl got in last spring 2012 with 30 points without being an alternate ! They were talking and comparing points in a thread for the spring semester

I saw that....I think I had told you about her being alt number 2 with 48 pts in the Fall 2011 class.. (maybe she was talking about her class) I still think you will be ok Victoria....She just said they started out with 70 people and are already down to 62 and her clinicals are 12 hour shifts with lots of paperwork. She said be prepared to give this all of your attention which will mean your family will have to be very supportive!!

Ummmm I don't know Gurl lolTo much hear say about the nursing program! My head literally hurts from stressing it today ! ESP when someone posted about them lowering the pass score after the application deadline

This is probably the most stressful thing ever (until nursing school) !!! I hate waiting and playing the guessing game haha
