on a 100/100 scale you can figure 2.5 points for every .1 grade point average. So if your GPA is 3.0 that would be 75 points, if your GPA is 3.1 it would be 77.5 points and so on. Then you can see how your GPA compares to your Kaplan score since they are equal in measure. So if you score a 76 on the Kaplan and you have a 4.0, then that would equal 100+76. You can take that total and divide it by two to see an overall score of both items. In this case it would be an overall score of 88.
yeah, I have heard different things from different advisers. Some say it all counts, some say it's just program classes, others say it's only the six "core" classes you listed. I have heard that they look at just the 6 to decide if you are eligible to for the Kaplan, and then it's overall GPA when they get Kaplan scores. It's not written anywhere. So Ms. Jackson has explicitly told you that those six classes are the only classes to figure in this GPA + Kaplan score assessment?
