I was put on the alternates list this year. Does anyone have any answers to these questions?...

Has anyone else been added to the alternates list?

How many people were added to the alternates list this year?

And how many people last year were accepted from the alternates list?

Ya know, just nervous and a little anxious over here and there are no definite answers so some insight would be nice...

Accepted to the Augusta Campus!

I found out last week that I was also accepted to the Athens campus!!! :)

So excited to meet you all come August~

I'm so late on joining this but congratulations to everyone that got in! I was also accepted to the Augusta campus and I'm so excited to meet everyone in August!

Hi everyone I am interested in applying for the fall 2017 or 2018 fiscal year. I say or 2018 but maybe apply and see if I am accepted then move to GA to work a year as I am a FL resident. I really want in state tuition. I wanted to know you Alls stats. I have yet to take the GRE/MAT all prereq aside from Chem lab (enrolled for fall) are finished. I'm thinking to apply in late September and since I have 2 bachelors and a lot of debt it doesn't make sense that I go as an out of state student. My ultimate goal is to become a psychiatric mental health DNP. During the application process I am open to any suggestions and being added to any group me. All help is appreciated

thank you

Hello! I will be starting this August. Hopefully we can be study buddies? Lol

Hi all!! I will be at the Augusta campus! Hopefully we will see each other at the mandatory 8/15 meeting.

Hi, everyone! Congratulations to those of you who were accepted and are about to begin your exciting new journey! I plan to apply for Fall 2017 when the application opens at the end of this month. I was wondering if you guys could give me some insight on the parameters of the admissions essay. I've scoured the program's pages and cannot find anything addressing length or essay prompts. From what I gather, it will be in the application, but I'd just like to have some idea. About how long were your essays? Also, I did not see any information about the resume, other than to include one. Most things that I have read suggest that a resume should be 1 page, but mine will be 2 pages. Do you think that is okay? Thanks for any insight you all can provide. This thread has been a great source of information!

If my memory serves me correctly, the essay requirement was 1000 words or less. It was specified in the NursingCAS instructions. My CV was 2 pages as well.

Thanks, Thoeni! I appreciate your help. I was hoping to start working on my personal statement, but I suppose that I will have to wait until the application period opens so that I will have access to the essay prompts. Good luck in school! Hopefully I will be joining the CNL family in 2017!
