GRU CNL Fall 2015

Hi,

Has anyone else here been accepted to the CNL Program at GRU for Fall 2015. Just trying to connect with some fellow students!

I was wait listed for the Athens campus as well; I'm still cautiously optimistic about getting in for the Fall semester... I just need to stay focused and finish Microbiology over the summer... that should keep me occupied for the time being!

I just called and the information i've collected is as follows:

There is no way to find out how many people are on the alternate list, there is no way to find out how many people are ahead of you on the alternate list, and if you are to find out if you get accepted they will call you from the time the tuition deposit is due until June 30th to let you know if you are admitted into the program.

-ps. i'm an alternate for the main augusta campus.

That's a little strange-I called and was told we would know if we had a spot by June 15th. There are about 20 people of the wait list and it is organized by GRE/gpa/letter quality rather than time of application. We can't know where we stand on the list but at least we know how it's organized.

Also the application for fall 2016 begins in July

But 20 is a little high, I wonder if this is for the Athens and Augusta campus combined?

I was also told the same, but I did not ask how the list was organized. So they will look at the GRE score first?

Not sure what is ranked higher-gre, gpa, or letters. But also I asked if I was only on the wait list for athens like it said in the letter but I was told that the 20 is a combined number and if a slot opens up for either campus, you will be notified.

Was on the wait list for Athens but just received admission to the Augusta program! Very excited. Can't wait to meet everyone!

She left me a voicemail about a week ago but I did not receive it until today. So I called back and she informed me. Augusta is not my first choice but I will take whatever comes my way! 😊

4.0 GPA (science and undergrad) and 306 GRE. Hope that helps out!
