GRU BSN Fall 2015

Published

Hey y'all! Just turned in my application for GRU's Fall 2015 - all of my stuff has been turned in and confirmed, just waiting for them to change the status! Anyone else out there who has applied?I had a TEAS of an 86% and a GPA of 3.65. This will be my second bachelor's degree. I have some experience - volunteering for the last four years at various places (only six months at a hospital) and obtained my CNA this last summer. I am nervous!!

I notice that last year it was a rolling admission it seemed like and since my status still says incomplete for some reason (admissions says that the system takes a bit to update and that they do have everything), I'm still a bit worried!

I bet that is a good sign! I don't think they change the status if they are going to deny you until they've accepted all the people they want to (unless your GPA is lower than 2.8 and an automatic denial!) :) Wooohoo for you!!

My status changed today to decision made, so I'm waiting on my letter!

Congratulations! Athens or Augusta campus?

I applied to the athens one

Awesome! Hopefully we will be classmates soon! :) still waiting on my status to change!

I'm sure it'll change soon! Good luck!

Good luck Emily52196!!!!

What are your stats if you don't mind me asking?

Tali0430, I have an Associate of Arts in Nursing degree. It's a degree with pre-nursing emphasis and is designed for students who intend to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from a baccalaureate institution. It's not the same as an ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing). I'm not qualified to do anything with it except continue with my BSN as a transfer student.

I have a 3.94 gpa and a 4.0 science gpa. And I got an 88 on my TEAS.

That's great!! Does anyone know if they send acceptance and rejection letters at the same time?

I believe they send the rejection and wait list letters at the end of March and the status will change then.

My status changed to decision made on Monday, so now I'm just waiting for the letter! I talked to someone at admissions today and they said that they send letters on Monday, so I shouldn't expect them to send my letter out until next Monday!
