Application deadline is about 2 months out for Grossmont College ADN program (Spring 2022 cohort)
Who is applying and how did everyone manage finishing pre reqs during covid? I'm getting everything together for my application and a little discouraged that my points won't be quite as high as I hoped.
Hi guys! I got accepted into this program on Monday too! Congrats everyone on their acceptances!! However, I will be declining my seat as I also got into San Diego City's program for Spring 2022 (found out in July) and have already started a nursing student success course with them. I have already committed myself to attending there so I hope someone else gets my spot for Grossmont! :)) Best wishes!!

Considering that you will want to aim for high points, I wouldn’t risk taking A and P together. Those classes were very rigorous (physio more than anatomy), and I am so glad I didn’t take them together. I took anatomy with Matt Kinseth (highly recommend), and I took physio with Rebecca Thompson (she is the best). Thompson prepared me for the science portion of the TEAS and it was a breeze because of her. She tells you exactly what you need to know and what to study for. I didn’t take micro at Grossmont, I had to take it at MiraCosta but I took it with Pedro Morgado and he was very critical, but great.

Thank you!
Would you say all sciences should be taken in separate semesters?

Grossmont counselors told me to keep them in separate semesters. Just remember you can only repeat one science class, so if you enroll in anatomy and physio together and decide it’s too much to handle and want to drop one of them it counts as a “take” and you’ll have to “repeat” it.

Is grossmont your first choice? Where else did you apply to?
