Grossmont Nursing Spring 2017 Cohort

Hi! Good luck to everyone who applied for Spring 2017! I just wanted to start a thread for those of us anxiously awaiting to hear back. I will be applying to Mira Costa and Palomar, as well as SDCCD and southwestern later in the year. How many points does everyone thing they had? From what I've read, it seems like most cohorts hear back in mid-late September. I wish everyone the best!

Hello everyone! First time posting but I've been following the thread. I haven't received any correspondence from Grossmont at all in regard to my application status. I'm reading that a lot of you had to give notice by October 3-5 if you'd like to attend the program. Is anyone else in the same boat as I am? Still waiting? Christy's email instructed not to call about the app status, but I'm wondering if I should based on the thread.

ps. Congrats to all of you that have been accepted already! Huge accomplishment! Good luck! :)

Hey Bella91! Don't worry I'm in the same boat too! I got the initial email last Tuesday saying that invites were going out and it's been crickets ever since. At this point I'm hoping to at least be an alternate! Hopefully we'll hear something tomorrow? Good luck!

Hey guys! I'm in the same boat too! Like Christy said, it can take several weeks to fill the class. So the best thing we can do is remain patient and hopefully we will find something out soon. Good luck!!!!

I'm still waiting too! I knew not to get my hopes up for the LVN-RN program, but now I'm starting to lose hope for the 2 year program too. The application process continues....

Grossmont, MC, & Palomar. If they don't pan out I'm gonna look into National. How about yourself?

I applied to MC and Palomar as well! I'll be applying to sdccd and southwestern soon too!

Thanks everyone for your replies...much easier to stay patient together!im planning on applying to sdccd for next fall and southwestern as well. In the mean time, my fingers are crossed for us! Good luck everybody!

Fingers crossed here too! Do you know if attending the nursing workshop at SDCCD is mandatory for applying to the program?

you dont need to attend a workshop to apply for city, i already turned in my application. Also I called the mira costa lady, letters are going out next week :0
