I know the application period for Spring 2015 cohort ended on 7/31/2014. Does anyone know when rejection/acceptance letters are typically sent? I believe it is via email...

I got my acceptance! I cried happy tears. This is my second time around applying to nursing school and I didn't have high hopes. I can't wait. Good luck to everyone!

How did you send your acceptance? I emailed and faxed. And then I'm going to call tmro just to make sure they got it. Ha.

They didn't tell me how many points I had but I think I had 72 points. I know for sure I got the spot because someone else denied theirs. People were first notified of acceptance on the 18th and needed to accept for deny their spot by the 23rd, which is when I got my acceptance. Good luck! I need to accept by the 29th.

dajiawen, I brought my acceptance letter by the nursing office on Monday because I have a early morning class there and thought it was the best way to insure they got it. :yes:

Yes, I think we are all in pretty much the same classes. Judging by the class schedule on Webadvisor for last semester, it looks like they might split us up into two different classes, but I'm not for sure. From what I've heard, everyone gets to know each other pretty well throughout the entire two year journey. :)

Do you have any information on getting CPR certified? I a little confused on how to do it and which type. On the american health assoc. website they have many types of cpr ceritif!

I haven't looked into yet, as I have been so busy with school with this semester, but BLS certification is listed on the orientation agenda, so I'm sure they are going to give us some details then. Hope that helps. :)
