Grossmont Fall 2022 Cohort

Hi guys! Wanted to start this thread for those applying to the Fall ‘22 cohort. I emailed the school and was told that the typical size of each cohort is 40 students. 

How many points are y’all applying with? I’m applying with 80-81 points.

For any current students, are my points competitive enough? I’d love to know, LOL. Thanks so much and good luck to everybody!

CONGRATS! I cannot for the life of me figure out how to respond directly to comments on these threads lmao. But I’m so so happy for you! I’m not holding my breath to get in this round but I’m ecstatic for you! WOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!

Has anyone else heard anything back? Do they send out acceptance letters all at once or is over a period of time (days/week)? Does anybody know if they send rejection letters as well?

I received an email at 6:40 pm that they didn't accept me, but added me to the waitlist

I received a rejection email as well. That’s OK! Still waiting on city and Palomar. And I’m going to try again for Grossmont in the next application period. Congrats to everyone who got in! To those who didn’t, don’t give up, and YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH. 
 

p.s. I have not heard back from palomar yet.

I believe it was 82 or around there for grossmont college

Hey all,

I got my acceptance email to Grossmont. They’ve given me until Friday at noon to respond. Still waiting on Palomar as it’s closer to me and easier on the gas tank, but I’m super grateful to have been accepted. Hopefully Palomar sends out their decisions this week.

Congrats! You applied with high points so there was no doubt! when did you receive your acceptance? I have not received anything yet
