Grossmont College Cohort Spring 2018

U.S.A. California

Published

Hello everybody! I wanted to start a thread on this upcoming application season for Grossmont.

I am ranging 80-82 points ( depending on those life experiences points). This will be my first time applying here. Reading all these forums and seeing that people can take more than one try to get in makes me anxious! Lol

Good luck to everyone! :)

I double checked and they told me just my titer is sufficient. I'm also hoping it's truly fine ! I have 86 points If everything goes well.... so if a little miscommunication over vaccines prohibits me from getting in I'll be pissed !

My sister barely passed her TEAS but got good points on everything else, so it compensated. Still she got accepted into the program with only 72-75 points

That's amazing!! I've been keeping up on these posts for a few semesters now and I've come to realize that for example a person with 73 points will get in over a person with 75 points... it makes me wonder if they look at more than just points?? Unless people on these posts don't put their true points. I'm just trying to forget about the points and whatever happens, happens (:

Yes, to Grossmont

I know, it's confusing and I really don't understand how they do it. But if they do look at something else other than points, what could that be?

Hey guys, first time applying as well!

Racking up with 75 points.

- 15 from associate degree, CNA license, and 100 volunteer hours

- 36 from GPA

- 3 for language

- 21 for TEAS - 72.5 pts (Meh)

Fingers crossed I get in and good luck to all of you.

First update on their website.

We should hear back via email "2 months after the close date of the application period." I already knew this but it's getting more real!!

Thats what I'm trying to think about! I have 72-74 points depending on life ones but I'm trying to be positive and if I dont get in then try again!

We are almost there you guys!! I checked when the past semesters have gotten their emails and in 2016 it was sept 16 and 2017 it was sept 27. Eeeek!! :D

I know every time I get an email I get nervous!

Omg ! My nerve levels just went up 100000 percent !!!!

Crossing my fingers for everyone !
