Thank you!
Best of luck to you! Based off what I saw at orientation, its a really great program.
I got an 86 on my TEAS. I definitely didn't want to take the new TEAS since the questions I had studied were based off the TEAS 6 study guides. I wouldn't get too hung up on any one score. I do think they look at the overall applicant. Everyone has different strong points
I see. Thank you for your feedback tbh. I’ve been really upset at myself for that TEAS score and thinking about how I won’t be accepted anywhere. I’m taking 2 more Spanish classes to obtain those extra 3 pts for the next application period. I have my CNA + experience and I think like 3 pts of personal circumstances and now the associates so I’m keeping my hopes up.

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has ever been accepted to Grossmont College with a 70s score? I am planning to apply for this Fall 2022 with 75 points. But I will be earning my Associate this Spring so I'll apply with 5 extra points for the next application period which would be Spring 2023. Right now I calculate 75 pts:
+ 5 CNA
+5 100 hrs of Healthcare related work experience (At Scripps)
+25 pts in accumulated GPA (A in Anatomy, B in Physiology, A in Micro)
+13 pts in fixed set GPA (A in English, A in Math, B in Sociology, A in Speech, and A in Psych)
+1 pt for first generation to attend college
+1 pt for having to work during prerequesites
+1 pt for educational disadvantage (hopefully)
+3 pt for speaking another language (Spanish)
+21 pts for the TEAS-I did really bad (74.6%) but I will retake for the next application period.
That being said, I am kinda of wondering if I should even apply given that I know people in the 80s that have been rejected.
