Getting into Grossmont College's Nursing Program with low admission points.

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I'm currently struggling in my pre-requisite classes and have yet to take the TEAS exam, but if I end up with a low number of application points, -- say, around 66 or so, -- would I still have a good chance of getting accepted into Grossmont's Nursing program? I'm aware that it's highly competitive, though the scoring changes with every application period, with each new round of applications. I've read that there's something like 500+ student applications per year, but I'm not sure if that's true.

Hi @Lynn001

I'm not sure of the probability of acceptance. I just know, like you, that it is highly competitve; though not as difficult as SDSU. I would say do your best on everything you can to get the points you can so that you don't stress over the TEAS so much.
