Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has ever been accepted to Grossmont College with a 70s score? I am planning to apply for this Fall 2022 with 75 points. But I will be earning my Associate this Spring so I'll apply with 5 extra points for the next application period which would be Spring 2023. Right now I calculate 75 pts:
+ 5 CNA
+5 100 hrs of Healthcare related work experience (At Scripps)
+25 pts in accumulated GPA (A in Anatomy, B in Physiology, A in Micro)
+13 pts in fixed set GPA (A in English, A in Math, B in Sociology, A in Speech, and A in Psych)
+1 pt for first generation to attend college
+1 pt for having to work during prerequesites
+1 pt for educational disadvantage (hopefully)
+3 pt for speaking another language (Spanish)
+21 pts for the TEAS-I did really bad (74.6%) but I will retake for the next application period.
That being said, I am kinda of wondering if I should even apply given that I know people in the 80s that have been rejected.

Good luck in your journey!
Hey are you thinking of retaking your TEAS before the 2 year wait requirement? For grossmont you can take it after a month but for Mira Costa and Palomar it says you have to wait after 2 years which is so weird. I got a 78 too my first time ? I think I'm off by 2 points to get an acceptance since I've been waitlisted.

Aprox 80. Next round I’ll apply with 3 extra points with a Span220 class.
