I'm up in Seattle at Children's and we use volunteers for playing with kids, holding babies, working in the playroom, transporting patients, work the greeter desk, transport from the ER. Look into Good Sam, Tacoma general, Mary Bridge, I'm sure they all need volunteers. Becoming a CNA is also good for your application and later on for job experience. Usually you need to start work in long term care but then later get a job elsewhere. Good luck!

Hi Everyone!
I am currently doing pre-req's at Pierce College. Has anyone or does anyone know any great places to volunteer in the Tacoma/Federal Way area?
Thanks!
