  1. oh okay, good to know! Just wondering, do you know of a hopsital in the area that offers better daycare hours?
  2. Hi there- I was curious if anyone had any information on Good Samaritan Hospital's onsite daycare. I know they have it there, but I am not sure what the hours are. Are they 24/7 or just days? Weekends? Thank you!
  3. Hey Everyone! This is going to seem very common sense, but I just want to make sure that I am doing it correctly and get any advice you all might have. I need to begin volunteering or job shadowing ASAP. I met with my nursing advisor a couple days ago and she told me that all the local hospitals in our area have like 3-6 month waiting lists to volunteer. My friend recommended school nurses to job shadow? Where have others done it? My biggest question is what do you say? Do you just call random places up and ask if you can job shadow or volunteer? Is there any specific verbiage that anyone recommends? Sorry for such a dumb question, but thanks in advance for some advice!
  4. Hello! I am right there with you Nurse2b! I am used to getting nothing less than A's and I took my first A/P test a couple weeks ago and got a C. I almost died. I guess it can only get better! Hang in there!
  5. Lol. thanks Paradisemakai for that info!
  6. Hi Everyone! I am currently doing pre-req's at Pierce College. Has anyone or does anyone know any great places to volunteer in the Tacoma/Federal Way area? Thanks!
