Just wanted to throw it out there that I found a great little book at my Barnes and Noble, in case anyone is looking for something to prepare them for the new question types on the NCLEX -
Lippincott's NCLEX-RN 250 New-Format Questions - is $20.95
Breaks it down into 5 chapters - Fundamentals, Med-Surg, Maternal-Infant, Peds, and Psych
Offers all of the new question types - lots of select all that apply, fill-in the blank, "hot spot", drag and drop (putting options in sequential order), and chart analysis
Am not sure if this book is exactly the wording that will be on the NCLEX, but the questions are definitely challenging, I think it's a good resource (I will let you know how good after I take the test on Monday!).
I said that I would come back and let everyone know if the book was good for the NCLEX, and I really think it was one of the best parts of my review! I had 6 select-all-that-apply questions out of 75 and there were lots of these in the review book. If you want a good book to do the few days before the test, this is a great one to get - the wording is a lot like the NCLEX.
