Gre For Graduate Nursing Programs

Published

My Name Is Josh And I Would Like To Apply For Graduate School To Earn A Masters Degree In Nursing Education. I Would Love To Become A University Professor To Help Educate New Prospective Nurses Into The Field. The Gre Seems To Be The Only Challenge In My Way. I Haven't Taken A Math Course In 5-6 Years And I Have Done My Research On The Content Of The Gre. I Don't Know Where To Go From Here? Please If Anyone Has Had A Similar Quandary Please Post.

i live in ocala. are you going for your masters in nursing to be a practitioner from USF? I goal is to shoot for CRNA school, but i want to work for a couple years first (plus you have to have at least 1-2 yrs icu experience before you can apply to CRNA programs). i will also apply to a few NP programs as well for back up.

JPHILL,

I will be going to USF in January for the NP program. I am interested in Adult Critical Care and I am not sure about the CRNA (Yet). I originally planned on starting in August but have decided to put that off due to a new position. I am transferring into critical care on June 16th and felt I need to give myself some time to adjust. I attended an orientation at the USF CON and felt that the info they provided helped. I liked the fact that a lot of the program can be done online with the exception of when you get into your clinical time. Orientation is offered every Tuesday at the CON around 10am. They go over every program they offer, and will answer any questions you have. Give the CON a call (813-974-2191) and check to make sure the time is still the same. :D
