Grayson Fall 2018 Hopefuls

Hey guys. The deadline to apply for Fall 18 is in a few days. If you are applying to the Lvn bridge program or regular track, please leave a comment with your stats. I will be applying with 21-22 points, Hesi score-88. My points are a little low but i refuse to retake those science classes, no maam. I do plan on retaking the Hesi next week before the deadline.

I had emailed nursing admin in early May and I was told I would get an email if accepted at the end of the second week of June. The wait is hard and I'm very nervous. Going in with 25 points... praying for you all!! Please keep posting if anyone has updated info.

I had friends with 25 points that got in and were not wait listed. The entire orientation they are working in the background seeing who showed and who can be added from the wait list.

I only have 21 points so i am sure i will get waitlisted. hopefully spots will open after that, so i can get in. i am ready to start my nursing journey, ive been a CNA for some time now so definitely ready to move on. good luck to all of us.

Hello, I was wondering by chance, if anyone else is applying to other nursing programs besides Grayson. If so, do y'all know the grace period for accepting the admission? I'm applying to Collin nursing as well, and I won't hear back from them until end of June or early July.

Hi all ! I have applied to the Fall 2018 RN program. I finished all my prerequisites with all A's and one B. I made a 92 on the hesi and have a previous bachelors degree in health care administration. Unfortunately I live outside of the Grayson area so I will only be applying with 24 points! I spoke with someone from the program on Tuesday and they said we should know something by next week. Wishing everyone good luck! Please post if you have any other insight :)

I just want to say that you and I have exact same stats! I have 2 As on A&P 1 and 2, and B on micro. Also, I got 92 on HESI. Since I don't live in county, I have a total of 24 points. What a coincidence!

Wow! Definitely a coincidence! I'm praying 24 points is enough to make it in. When I turned in the application the lady made it sound promising, but you can never be too sure! Anxiously awaiting this email already!

Hello guys,

I know I am late to the thread but i was waitlisted with 24 points and 90 on the HESI. I am a little discouraged as I was also waitlisted for UTA twice. I thought for sure I was going to be accepted to Grayson's program. Hopefully when I attend orientation I will be accepted. Congrats to all that were accepted!
