To be considered tier one, I believe you must have applied with at least 24 credits from GCU

Get the Elsevier HESI Review book. It will be your bible. The math portion is simple and as long as you use the book. Study the vocab from the book, as that is pretty much all they will ask. As far as grammar, as long as English is your first language, you should be fine. Reading comprehension was the hardest section for me honestly, but the Elsevier book gave great tips on how to prepare for the questions they are going to ask. For anatomy, I would use this book for more as a guide. Below, is a link that I found was perfect. This link gives you a study guide for things the WILL be asked. I got a 92% on the anatomy section and thought it was easy (only 25 questions) and this link was the best source I found. Good luck!

Has anyone been getting negative results for their titer results? It says the deadline is December 1st but it asks for vaccinations 28 days in between the original. So hypothetically we received the details on the 6th of November and titer readings take about 3 days. I don't find it fair that they gave it to us so late.

Yes, actually, everyone I have talked to so far, including myself has gotten negative Varicella results for their titer. I, too, was scared and I contacted the Office of Field Experience, where I was told that as long as we had the first dose complete by December 1st. After, he said to get the remaining doses as soon as possible. Hope this helps!

My cousenlor actually just called me today and talked to me about that. He said as long as you get the first dose before December 1st, you're fine. Has anyone taken the BLS certification class yet?

Is anyone else struggling on getting everything done, I am worried that I wont have it done in time

I have about the 2nd week of November and it was pretty easy. Class took about 4 hours and we get the certificate right after if you pass the exam.

Same. I got everything except the medical Clarence form and the HIPPA document, which should be through e-doc.

Have you or anyone did the HIPPA form/document yet? I haven't gotten anything.

yes, i did the HIppa i had to email the counselor to get it though because it wasn't in my documents. how long did it take you to do the titers

Okay thanks, I was waiting for it to come over break but my e-doc was still empty. Did you email your regular counselor or your nursing one?. As for titer, you should get that done right away. Results normally get by within 1-3 days, mine took about 5 days. Had a negative varicela titer even though I got the vaccine, so I had to get the first shot.

I emailed the nursing one
