Has anyone heard anything from Grady about the nurse residency for Winter?

Hello everyone! Congrats to all of you that accepted jobs at Grady this past Winter! I am applying for the Summer cohort and just wanted to know how the residency is going for you all and any advice you might have, especially from NICU, as that’s my dream unit! Thank you!

Hey! So far it's going okay. It starts out as a lot of online/virtual stuff (maybe because of covid, but I'm not sure how they did things before). I'm in the NICU and had my first day on the unit yesterday. It was only 8 hours, but everyone I met so far (on day shift) was really helpful and kind. As far as advice, just be yourself in the interview and be able to answer why you chose Grady and why you want to be a NICU nurse. Good luck!!
