Hello everyone! Congrats to all of you that accepted jobs at Grady this past Winter! I am applying for the Summer cohort and just wanted to know how the residency is going for you all and any advice you might have, especially from NICU, as that’s my dream unit! Thank you!

Congrats to everyone that heard from WellStar today! Has anyone heard anything from Emory yet? Mine has said under review since 12/17

Yeah, I was confused too but I think maybe because I applied to different specialities within Women’s Services (NICU, Mother/Baby, L&D)

I applied on January 13th & got a call on January 26th, but I am internal so that may be why. I have to submit 5 references though before their hiring event in March so be prepared for that, just in case, if you’re looking into WellStar! Yes, I hope we all have jobs secured soon too! I’ve heard Northside will be starting their interviews at the end of February!

I got an email from a Northside recruiter on Friday asking for my top specialties & locations but haven’t heard back since then. As for Piedmont, I applied for the residency too early and when I reapplied for the correct one this morning, she emailed me back to set up a phone call. I’m external.

I just heard back this morning. I first got an email from a recruiter because I initially applied for the wrong term (Spring 2021) so after I applied for the Summer 2021 term this morning, she emailed me back to set up a phone call.

Thank you for starting this thread! So far, I’ve applied for CHOA, Northside, Emory, WellStar, & Piedmont! I also got an email from Northside on Friday as well and have heard from WellStar and Piedmont! Good luck to everyone! What units are you all shooting for?

I just got an email, I was accepted into ACE! Did anybody else get anything? Hopefully that means more are on the way so good luck!

Yeah, fingers crossed that we get decisions this week but I know last year spring semester, people were still getting decisions through December! I can’t wait that longgggg!

I feel the same way! We have to find out before Thanksgiving Break though, right?

Is anyone else still waiting on their decision?! I’m starting to worry now....
